EYFS visit to Kingsbury Water Park 06.05.26

On Wednesday 6th May, Pre-school and Reception visited Kingsbury Water Park. The children have recently been learning about minibeasts and have been finding out about their different habitats.

The children enjoyed two learning workshops led by the rangers. The first workshop involved the children searching for minibeasts in a woodland area. We then used nets to try and find more minibeasts hidden in the long grass in the meadow. We found lots of exciting creatures!

The other activity was called ‘Wild Woods’. The children enjoyed exploring the woods, playing in the mud kitchen and playing in the giant sand pit! It was fantastic to see the children being really imaginative in their play.

After the activities, we made the most of the sunshine and had a picnic in the field. We then played games until it was time to get back onto the coach.

We had a wonderful day and we were so impressed with the children! For some of the children, this was their first educational visit and they were fantastic!
