Reception visit to Packington Farm

On Friday 2nd October, Anning class went on a visit to Packington Farm. We had a fantastic day! We were met on arrival by Jules and Roy and were then taken on a trailer to the farm. We started the day by looking at some of the animals on the farm. We learnt lots of interesting facts about sheep and pigs! We then spent time in the woods, building shelters for some animals and collecting lots of natural resources ready for the afternoon session.
After lunch, we had some time to explore the field. We then used the resources that we collected in the morning to create autumn inspired natural artwork! Following this, we learnt about how seeds grow and planted our very own cress seeds.
We had a wonderful day and we were so proud of our Reception children! Well done Anning class!
