KS1 visit to The Black Country Museum

On Tuesday 6th October, our KS1 children had a wonderful day visiting the Black Country Living Museum. They thoroughly enjoyed stepping back in time and learning about life in the past through a range of exciting hands-on experiences.
During the visit, the children took part in a fascinating toy workshop, where they explored and compared toys from different periods. They also experienced a Victorian-style school lesson, giving them an insight into what school life was like for children many years ago.
Throughout the day, the children explored a variety of historic houses, shops and buildings, learning about how families lived, worked and spent their time in the past. They represented the school beautifully with their fantastic behaviour, enthusiasm and curiosity.
We are very proud of all the children and hope they enjoyed sharing their experiences with you at home.
